I love local music... and so should you. Stuff that hasn't hit the radios yet. Bands that don't play in sold out arenas yet. The ones that still make time to interact with their fans, the ones that haven't completely sold out. The ones that still give a damn about the music, for goodness sake. So, I decided to blog about some of the best. I'll blog daily- sometimes multiple times a day- about bands that I think you should know. Sometimes I'll include a photo, a video, or a song clip- but I will always at least include the name of the band and a link to find out more. I promise- these are the bands you should be listening to.

♫ A personal favorite of mine is The Coming Weak from Providence, RI. Their music drives, their lyrics inspire, and they’re hilarious to boot (videos to follow). They haven’t been around long, but they’ve been through a lot and have come out kicking. In July of 2009 they produced an EP titled “Are We All Letting Go?” and although heavier than their first “Consider This,” my favorite, I haven’t been able to take it off my playlist since I bought it. Just listen- they will rock you.
