I love local music... and so should you. Stuff that hasn't hit the radios yet. Bands that don't play in sold out arenas yet. The ones that still make time to interact with their fans, the ones that haven't completely sold out. The ones that still give a damn about the music, for goodness sake. So, I decided to blog about some of the best. I'll blog daily- sometimes multiple times a day- about bands that I think you should know. Sometimes I'll include a photo, a video, or a song clip- but I will always at least include the name of the band and a link to find out more. I promise- these are the bands you should be listening to.

♫ Forgive me for slacking on the description here, it’s been a while, but I’m going to just leave you with The Invite. Straight out of Nashville, Rhode Island. Yes, you heard right. This was once a little pop punk band from Providence, RI. They grew up, changed their vibe, moved to Nashville, and signed with Atlantic Records (Matchbox 20, Jason Mraz, Phil Collins, etc). What?! Yeah, it happened. Maybe you aren’t a huge country fan… but you should check them out anyway. Because even if you don’t dig their tunes, you’ll dig their charm… and you’ll pay money to see them anyway. :)
